Welcome to the new website for International Country Artist Melody Dunn.
This modern design coincides with the release of Melody’s latest release “Single Red Rose”, released in Australia (Rage 8) on November 3rd just 2 months before Melody and co-writer and friend Ben Thorpe head off to Australia for a 6 week Tour of Australia including dates at Australia’s most famous Country Festival, Tamworth.

March 2006 will see Melody travel to Austin for SXSW after a week of showcasing for major labels in New York. Followed by a summer season of USA dates. See the tour page for up to date details. The USA release for “Single Red Rose” is anticipated for April / May 2006.

There are three things that spring to mind when you mention real country music;
Honesty, life and passion and you can be sure to find ample amounts of all three in Melody Dunn’s latest release “Single Red Rose”.
There’s none of that cross over pop thing that the major labels do to trick people into liking country music when they don’t really care for anything down to earth anyway, no, all you will get with this release is good strong vocals, good solid melodies (excuse the pun) and honest lyrics from a woman who has been through some hard times. This album is really from the heart.
Great for guys who love a gutsy female, brilliant for women who want something to relate to. I give it 9/10 just to leave enough room for an extra point for the next album!
